love is everywhere

Dear diary,

i feel it! It's in the air... from family, friends even the flowers, the pet my dad bought home. Yes! It's LOVE.

Daddy brought a parrot home - xiao huang is his name haha. cos tt's out sir name. It's really beautiful.. a rare and expensive species.Think it costs 300-400 bucks.

izzit it beautiful? But he looks kinda scared right now.. perhaps not used to the new environment. It's lovely...

New year is coming and guess it's the same as always to spend my year end festival with my good old friends :) 7 years of friendship and i know there's more to come!

Will be working on next thurs and fri. Hee, finally there's this small amount of 'income' which i know it will be spend within 1-2 days.

Looking forward to a new year and the last day of 2007.

the mysterious feeling

dear diary,

somehow i feel elated today. the feeling was so light and cosy ... this mysterious feeling coming from my sub-conscious mind.
hopefully everything will turn out well.
these little words appearing just make put a smile across. how amazing that these words could bring happiness to people.

was quite tired cos i came home only this morning with Joanne. Spend my xmas eve with my lovely pals having dinner tgt and playing cards in hotel 81. Though it sounds wrong but it's not what u r thinking... haha. We played and drink .. I left to join Joanne and her friends over at Chinaone (if i'm nt wrong) in clark quay. It was quite fun, after all there are many westerners over there so it wasn't kinda our place. glad to make new friends... had a nice breakfast and headed home.

Though xmas is over, still.. Merry Christmas everyone!

shopping!

Dear diary,

i went shopping today with Sherlyn... we went town. It was a nice shopping trip :) Thanks for buying me the Christmas present and "dinner". Haha, we shopped for pretty long from 3pm till near 9pm. So crowded and everywhere i walk.. almost every shop is playing R&B songs. Can't wait to go next wed with my cousin, friends and prob my sisters too. How nice to have siblings who you can hang out together. i wanna go Thailand shopping!

The kids have been messaging me... and one even called me! They are so cute la, asking me questions which really make me wanna laugh. Been eating a lot till I'm really broke already. Think I might go for another ear piercing soon. Sherlyn had hers done today... maybe next week i go :)

Joanne is coming tonight.. yea, we're gg to have a good chat tonight! hee.. waiting for her arrival and stories :P

my holiday is meaningful

I had been so busy the past few days... and many photos to upload.

15th Dec 2007
I went fisherman wharf for dinner, TCC and watched The Golden Compass. I enjoyed myself , the show is nice. Is my 1st time seeing polar bears fight :P

16th Dec2007
It's my dear birthday... Happy Birthday Rowena! Woke up early to eat tim sum at liang court. Wow, it's so nice! Lucky us, they have 30% promotion, not only did we eat tim dum, we also have desserts. Shall upload the pictures later. We took many pictures after lunch, walk around at The Central and took a shuttle bus which was free around town :) haha, i felt like a tourist. We alighted at city hall, went esplanade to The Chocolate Bar and had our fondue!
I felt so fat.. and sinful. Because....
My family went to Sushi Teh for dinner and somehow i ate again. My 1st time there, the food is nice:) Esp got one beef dish.

17th - 19th
These 3 days, i really feel so happy, tired and meaningful. It was a SUPER GOOD experience. It was Kids' World. My group is group 9 - Winnie the Pooh ( my favorite cartoon character). Together in my group, I have 9 volunteers and 9 kids ( initially got 10 kids but one left to join the other group) They are from underprivileged families and really adorable. We cheered, play games and won champion! Hooray!

Day 1
We had ice-breaker games - wacko, H2O , trees and squirrels. Then we had life skill lessons where the kids do face mask and 3D origami. Next, we play sports games and we won 1st :) I can see our potential soccer and captain ball players.

Day 2
We played The Great Monopoly in school , it's like amazing race. Ran from one station to another.. shag but fun. And the kids bully me! Boo.. but nvm, for more points it's alright :) Haha, they pour a big bottle of water on me... and i was totally wet. We kinda play cheat cos the kids learn to earn more bonus points by cheering. It's so cute having to see them asking the programmers for more points. They go like ' please... give us more points. we do cheer for you." After the cheer, everyone will crowd around the programmer and see how many points they give. Completed 8 stations and we are the champions!

Day 3
Went to the science center. It's has been long since I went there... before i went in, i thought it would be quite boring but apparently i was wrong. Went around with Irfan and it's really interesting! It's his first time there and everything is like wow... press the buttons here and there, run around. Looking at them playing at the same games over and over again without getting tired of it is so weird. Maybe when we were younger, we were like them too.

I really learn how to appreciate things around me more. Ask yourself when was the last time you ate MacDonald?
My kids... some of them couldn't even remember when was the last time they ate MacDonald. On the 1st day, we gave happy meal to them with fillet o fish, nuggets and fries. Many of them either could not finish it or they don't want to eat because they wanna bring home for their siblings at home. When my friend told her that the fries will be cold by the time you reach home but she says, "nvm, my mummy will make hot. My sis likes nuggets and my bro likes fries." How sweet right? If it's any one of us, I'm sure it will land in the bin. I never thought eating MacDonald is a blessing... guess i always take it for granted.

When you were at the age of 10, do you buy your own slippers?
My little girl has to work for her own slippers at the price of $12.50. She has to do the house chores to earn the money. She said it was her favorite slippers and she really cherish it.

Today was the last day of the camp and i felt sad to leave them. Don't know if I will be able to see them again. Hopefully, they will call me someday... missing them already.

Girls night out

Dear diary,

Meet up with cheryl n michelle last night. So nice to be together :) We went to 2am dessert bar to enjoy some delicious desserts and wine. It was a short and sweet meet up. Took many photos.. and probably we are one of the customers who took the most pictures there. haha...

Played frisebee this morning in school. Fun to be with sirius and nbs people. Hope they do well on monday! Went to queensway, ikea and anchorpoint with hj after that... a tiring day indeed.

Hope mummy will have fun in Penang... i feel so bad cos tml night daddy wanna bring us out for dinner but i won't be home. :(

Dear diary,

Finally, the connection is fixed. Everyday i am still enjoying my holidays and so glad to stay this way. If only i can have these days forever...

Have been watching a lot of TV shows... like project runway, Amercian next top model, Amercian idol etc. Every now and then, I faded into a dreamy mode wondering who do I wanna be in the future. What is my talent? Do I have one? Imagine myself staying in an office seems so boring! And i really really don't want to.. yet again, do i have a choice? I admire people who have talents.. that creative brains and magical hands of theirs drawing fascinating designs and turn them into gorgeous pieces of artwork filling up the body parts of a human being ... the beautiful voices that touches the hearts of people around the world... isn't it WOW?

How i wish i have something...

Met up with a fren recently... n i realised that there's always this small personality in everyone of us that refuses to grow up. It come so naturally like a small kid. Anyway, we did an art an craft thingy like those u see in the shopping centers using sand but we were using plant fibre. Just last sunday, i went to popular and bought materials to make stuffs. If given the choice, i wouldn't mind playing with barbie dolls,polly pocket, hugging all my bears to sleep as though they were my kids. I used to be very silly and still am.. where i will cover blanket over my bears thinking that they will get cold in the air-con. Alright.. guess i just don't wanna grow up.

Will be meeting my gers tml night at holland village... anticipating for camera time! whahaha.
my body clock is screw. sleeping after dinner, waking up at 2/3am till 5/6 plus den slp again. Today is so tiring cos i went back to school to do my flag for Kids' world and play 3 games. As simple as it is.. and indeed it was, still I had to stayed in school from 9am till 5pm cos they drag it for DAMN LONG! Nvm... realise that there are a no. of things for me to think these few days.

i have a wish for this christmas...

Internet connection Breakdown!

Dear diary,

It has been 2 days without the internet connection at home and it's killing us ( my siblings and I) ! So... here we are at tea garden MacDonalds surfing the net since it was 12.30am and currently the time is 3.30am. Haha, this is maddnes i know.
Gosh...singtel has such poor service! Have to wait till Tues before the technician come to fix it la! N i have to register my subjects on tuesday :S Argh.. looks like i have to go back to sch if not somewhere else to reg my sub. Sian!!! So sad.. i lost my gate access card to my hall. I really have no idea how i lose it cos nv take it out b4. *scratching my head* n $20 is gg to fly again jus like tt...

There's nothing i can do except for tv and going out without the internet. Finish watching the prison break till esp 8 today. Looks like i have no choice but to start on Heros...

Next week i have my whole week fully booked. Have to go back to sch on monday to wed cos of my volunteer work preparation. My group is winnie the pooh ... so happy :) Tue after registration, will be gg out... Thursday, there might be still some slot available haha. Mummy is flying off to penang on friday - no more nagging for at 5 days! Yea.. lol. N we, the kids will be bringing daddy ard to spend money lol. Very evil kids ya? Lol, we are nice... company daddy when mum is not around. Going to bring him to all the hip places lo. When we told dad, he says he's gg to hide one corner for the 5 days haha. Think one of the days, we are gg to New Asia Bar - if i'm nt wrong it's the tallest building in Singapore. So excited! I will trade in any of my activities for that... family first! hee

On teh 17th to 19th, i will be spending my time with the kids at Kids' World. Hope it'll be fun :) I love children!! They are so adorable... looking forward to meeting and taking pictures with them. I jus had dinner with one of my Jc Fren at Manhanttan Fish market. Thanks for the present and treat !I think the prawns there are nice but the fish is nt tt good. StIll prefer Fisherman Wharf which i will be gg next sat.

Tml i will be gg to rent shows/movies with korkor... i hope he DON'T slp till 6pm! Such a pig ,owl and rat in the house! Anchorpoint has a disney cafe gg to open soon. Seems like it's selling ice-cream but i just love the furnitures there. I wanna take photos .. with mickey and minnie! Lalalala, i'm in my dreamland again. Love all the cute stuffs lo. Most girls are like that one right? Hehe... i am!

Dear diary,

I just woke up at 3pm... had mac breakfast with my youngest sis at tea garden and back to my sleep after that. I love my family so much that i enjoy every moment with them :)

Just that night how she cuddle and squeeze onto my bed and lie beside me even though she has a much bigger bed which she share with her twin. And there my big brother also wants a share of it.... if it were a few years back, perhaps we can all sleep tgt but now that we have grown up, that's kinda tough.

Was msn-ing with guo xiang while I was reading my hand-written diary. Such funny entries I had... din know i could draw quite well and write such interesting poems :)

This holiday is flying pass me so fast that i want time to stop. There's so many people I have not meet up with esp my frens from overseas and those gg to overseas. Argh... i wanna get out of singapore too! Mum has some kind of humor too, when i told her that, she says ' go sentosa also can'. Hehe... sentosa is still part of singapore, Mum.

Went shopping with helen yesterday and bought a shirt dress.. however it's kinda short for me to be a dress. But i still love it still. I should go back to my dance school to pick up some moves. Dancing is fun and cool! It got all i love.. the music and exercising.

Will be meeting nbs people tonight at butterfactory... hopefully it will be fun even though there might be very few of us from sirius.

Every night I have been watching Prison Break till bedtime...I love his eyes.
