Typical day of an auditor

the job of an auditor
your alarm clock rings at 7am
get dressed up thinking that today will be a better day.
flag a cab and off you go to your client's place.
settle down with your laptop, greet good morning to everyone who arrive
and your day begins as you enter into the client's office
usually you will be smiling towards them and say things like ' Good morning, sorry to disturb you but can I ask a few questions?"
if you're lucky, the reply you will get " Morning, ya?" which is unlikely.
a typical reply is " I'm very busy now. Look for me at a later time."
No matter what the reply is, you still have to smile and say 'Ok" or be persistent " i promise i won't take too much of a time."
and when u walk into the auditor room, u probably start to think "why am i putting myself down into a position where I constantly need to ask favors from people?" and that's when it will lead you to thinking ' why am i in audit?"
your day ends at 7pm on a good day or after midnight on a busy day even if it's a friday.
aftter work, u realise that you are too tired to join the friends gathering or you totally missed it.
and when you get back home, everyone is sleeping soundly in bed...
